FAQs

Q: How can I collaborate with CANDLE investigators or get access to CANDLE data?

A: CANDLE has guidelines for those who would like to be involved with CANDLE data analyses, propose a sub or ancillary study.  Please refer to our CANDLE Guidelines for Collaboration for more information.

Q: How long does it take to obtain CANDLE data or specimens?

A: Several factors go into determining how long it will take- type of request, amount of data, and research design are just a few. Your timeline will be considered as your project moves forward, but please allow sufficient time for data and samples to be prepared and processed. Please consult the CANDLE Guidlines for Collaboration for more information.

Q: Will I receive the data to be analyzed?

A: CANDLE has a group of biostatisticans and data analysts that will conduct all analysis. If you are a student, you may apply to do your own analysis under the supervision of an assigned CANDLE biostatistician. Please consult the CANDLE Guidlines for Collaboration for more information.
